Gatesman is seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Analyst with 3-6 years experience who is excited to join our Marketing Intelligence team. This individual will help our teams and clients uncover trends and improve the digital user journey across our websites and campaigns by leveraging data and analytics.

The Senior Digital Marketing Analyst’s responsibilities include:


  • Research user behavior related to client’s business or marketing challenges
  • Identify various analytic techniques that would prove / disprove various hypotheses
  • Leverage 3rd party research tools and identified analytic techniques to provide insight into target audiences and associated opportunity areas

Measurement Strategy:

  • Work with various stakeholders to define business goals & KPIs
  • Propose the associated measurement and tracking strategy for campaigns and websites
  • Further define and implement tracking plan to realize tracking strategy

Website & Campaign Analyses:

  • Conduct both project-based analyses and ongoing regular reporting of websites and marketing campaigns
  • Pull out key metrics and trends from various data platforms including Google Analytics, Various Ads Platforms, SEO tools, In-house created Tableau dashboards, etc
  • Deep dive into interesting trends identified to help round out more meaningful insights
  • Create user friendly Tableau dashboards that provide compelling visualizations with minimal clicks needed for repeatable analyses & reporting at all levels
  • Lead report generation by defining KPIs needed, training / pulling KPIs and trends and boiling data into a key story with recommended business actions

SEO Analyses:

  • Monitor SEO trends across clients and conduct keyword research to identify key opportunities for content or campaign connections
  • Connect keyword research to audience insight; round out audience profiles accordingly
  • Provide recommendations to clients / agency on how to improve SEO using


  • Will serve as a key face of the Marketing Intelligence team
  • Able to interact internally / with clients to provide guidance on how to solve problems
  • Able to provide recommendations that either work in existing environment or understand implications of changes recommended
  • Present results and recommendations to both internal teams and clients – focused in on the key stories and recommended business actions to take
  • Provide recommendation on audience targeting, user flow, and tactical marketing opportunities based on insights gleaned through data

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics or related discipline
  • Minimum three years experience in business analytics or marketing analytics
  • Experience writing code (SQL preferred)
  • Experience using a web analytics platform like Google Analytics to uncover user behavior
  • Experience creating visualizations in a dashboarding tool (Tableau preferred)
  • Experience with SEO metrics and/or keyword research tools
  • Proficiency using Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP) or Google sheets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics or related discipline preferred
  • Familiarity and understanding of digital advertising and marketing preferred
  • Experience using Advertising platform data preferred
  • Experience with 3rd party research tools preferred
  • Experience with data science using Python or RStudio preferred
